Accessibility Statement Our accessibility commitment and how to report a problem
Career Navigators is committed to making its services usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We are building and testing the Service with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 level AA as our intended standard. We have not yet completed a comprehensive independent accessibility audit, so this statement does not claim that every part of the Service currently conforms to that standard.
1 Scope of this statement This statement applies to the Career Navigators website at career-navigators.ai and the associated web application operated by Zevancer Ltd. It covers account access, career profiles, Career Memory, CV and application tools, opportunity search and analysis, AI-assisted features, subscriptions, support and Career Communities. Career Communities includes Community Profiles, Connections, Personal Networks, Career Circles, posts, comments, messages, invitations, notifications, attachments, blocking, reporting and moderation features. This statement does not make a conformance claim for third-party websites, services or content that Career Navigators links to or displays but does not control. Section 6 explains how to report a problem involving a third party.
2 Our accessibility standard Our intended standard is WCAG 2.2 level AA. WCAG is an international technical standard organised around four principles: content and functions should be perceivable, operable, understandable and robust. Meeting the standard requires both automated checks and human evaluation, including testing complete user journeys. Accessibility is an ongoing responsibility. We consider it when designing features, writing content, selecting suppliers, reviewing changes and responding to user feedback. A technical standard cannot address every individual need, so we also provide a route to request help or an alternative format.
3 Current accessibility status As at the effective date, Career Navigators has not completed a comprehensive independent audit across every page, feature, user journey, browser and assistive technology combination. We therefore do not describe the Service as fully conformant or partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 AA at this stage. We are prioritising testing of the following areas before making a formal conformance claim: • keyboard access, focus order, visible focus and avoidance of keyboard traps • screen-reader names, roles, values, headings, landmarks and status messages • colour contrast, zoom, text spacing, reflow and use without relying on colour alone • form labels, instructions, error identification and error recovery • authentication, time limits, dialogs, menus, notifications and other dynamic interactions • alternative text, document accessibility and the accessibility of generated or uploaded content The absence of a listed barrier does not mean that none exists. We will update this statement after formal testing and when verified accessibility issues or material improvements change the position described here.
4 How we design and improve the Service Our design and development work aims to support: • navigation and core tasks using a keyboard or comparable input method • clear page structure, headings, labels, instructions and error messages • text resizing, browser zoom and responsive reflow without loss of essential content or function • sufficient contrast and visible focus indicators • compatibility with commonly used browsers, screen readers and other assistive technologies • plain language where practical, while retaining necessary career, legal and technical terms • accessible alternatives for important information that cannot be made accessible immediately We include accessibility checks in product review and defect handling. We will use user feedback and formal testing to set priorities, with issues that block account access or a core task treated as higher priority than minor presentation defects.
5 Content created by users or automated systems Some content is created by users, imported from files or third-party sources, or generated with AI assistance. Its accessibility may depend on the structure and quality of the source material. Examples include uploaded CVs, attachments, job descriptions, generated documents and Community posts. We aim to provide accessible controls and output formats, but we cannot guarantee that every item supplied by another user or organisation is accessible. Please report inaccessible content even where a third party created it. We may be able to provide an alternative, improve how it is presented or raise the issue with the relevant provider.
6 Third-party services Career Navigators may connect to or link to services such as Stripe, Google, Apple, LinkedIn, job-data providers, employer websites and job application systems. Those organisations control the accessibility of their own sites and interfaces. We aim to choose and integrate services responsibly, but we cannot make a conformance claim for technology outside our control. If a third-party service prevents you from completing a Career Navigators task, contact us. Tell us where the problem occurred and what you were trying to do. We will consider whether we can offer another route or work with the provider.
7 How to report an accessibility problem Email support@career-navigators.com with the subject line Accessibility problem. You do not need to disclose a diagnosis or provide medical information. Please include as much of the following information as you are comfortable providing:
- The page, feature or document involved, including a link where possible.
- What you were trying to do and what happened.
- The device and browser you were using.
- Any assistive technology you were using, including its version if known.
- The format or adjustment that would help you access the information or complete the task. We aim to acknowledge an accessibility report within five working days. We will assess its effect, explain the next step and, where we cannot resolve it promptly, consider a reasonable alternative. Security, privacy or safeguarding concerns should be described only to the extent needed for us to respond safely.
8 Alternative formats and assistance You can ask us for information in another reasonable format or for help using a feature. Depending on the material and your needs, this might include an accessible electronic document, a plain-text version or assistance completing a specific process. Contact support@career-navigators.com and describe the content or task involved and the format that would help. We will consider each request individually. The time needed may depend on the amount and complexity of the material, whether a third party owns it and whether personal or confidential information is involved.
9 Escalation and independent advice If you are dissatisfied with our response, reply to the same email thread and ask for an accessibility review. A person not responsible for the original response will review the issue where reasonably practicable. In the United Kingdom, the Equality Advisory and Support Service provides information and advice about discrimination and equality rights. In the United States, the Department of Justice ADA Information Line provides information about the Americans with Disabilities Act. Using these services is optional and you do not have to contact us first where the law gives you another route.
10 Review of this statement Zevancer Ltd prepared this statement on 16 September 2026. We will review it after the first formal accessibility audit, after a material change to the Service or by 16 March 2027, whichever occurs first. We will update the effective date when the statement changes materially.
